Punk-in-a-box is a sculptural art piece that embodies the juxtaposition of innocence and shock-factor aesthetics present at the core of the original punk movement.

The three songs included in the piece (Everybody’s Happy Nowadays by Buzzcocks, Anarchy in the UK by Sex Pistols, Neat Neat Neat by The Damned) were covered by Noah Scott Boling of Alertski.

"...They wanted me to be this mystery figure that they could hide in the cupboard and spring out like a Jack-in-the-box. Close the lid when it's not needed anymore."
